1. Research Motives: This topic will be selected in the Cyberfair project because the school establishes a puppetry group, to complete a Cyberfair project, in addition to own efforts, the support of professional personnel and providing relevant resources are also very important. Thanks to Mr. Mr. Hsiao who provided us with quite a lot of resources and guidance, which was our biggest background support, and because of his support, we decided to make the Cyberfair project. Another great factor was that we worried about the future development of the outdoor puppetry performance, we believe everyone has watched TV puppetry more or less, but seldom people have seen the outdoor performance. By referring to relevant research data in recent years, we have also found that with the change of times, many puppet troupes face a lot of problems like uneasy operation, difficult inheritance and improper maintenance of cultural relics. In order to make more people find out the beauty of this traditional art, through the endless force of network, the team hopes that more people will re-emphasize this traditional art. |

3. Data Collection: We spent time borrowing relevant books about the puppet in the library, and inquired relevant data of puppetry on the internet, after sorting and summarizing the data, we researched and discussed them. We visited Hsiao Shang-yan Hand Puppetry Troupe and Yunlin Hand Puppet Museum, took photos and recorded the characteristics. During the process of research, the uses we used included relevant books about puppetry, network resources, interview drafts, camera, recorder, computer and recording pen. |
