I thought it was a pretty simple activity before participated, and then later I found it is totally not. We have to do the water quality testing and also have to do the research on Saturdays which made me upset. Then gradually I’ve learned the skill of testing water and know the name and functions of those equipments. Although still needed some help from the teacher and would ask questions like ‘how to take the water from deeper area?’ that’s the time our teacher would took out his secret weapon and helped us. Some areas are really smelly but I know we have to be patient because our teachers didn’t complain at all. After the cyber fair, I’ve learned a lott of Plum Tree Creek. Writing reports could also strengthen our community skill. So I would like to say thanks to our teacher because they helped us a lot. Without them, we would not know the cyber fair and won’t learn all the things about Plum Tree Creek.

This is my first time to join Cyber Fair. I thought it would be fun and easy but I found it so different from what I've imagined since the first course. We shouldn't take the experiment too easy as if we are just playing. When I told my dad it's tired, he always told me it is a great opportunity to join the cyber fair, lots of students want but couldn't join, I should put your heart in it when I got the opportunity. Out teacher also told us that they offered their time and money to exchange our honor. After hearing these, I was convincing and put more effort to the project. I've learned a lot not only about animals, insects but the different ways to do the survey. I think joining this project is so interested because we walked into the forest to explore and found so many different things I'll never forget.

I think it is interested to join the cyber fair. Although there were hard times, but the pay off are achievement, rewards and the laughter of friends. I joined the team later than others so I got loss sometimes in the beginning. But soon I learned how to use the equipment and how to test the water. I think those interviewees are very impressive, they are knowledgeable about lots of relative information. I'd like to thank all the students and teachers who joined the project of protecting Plum Tree Creek. Without participated together, everything will be harder. I hope we can also do the research together next time. And, importantly, hope there'll be more people who are willing to protect Plum Tree Creek together.

This is my first time to join the cyber fair. I though it would be fun at the beginning. But when we have to do the interview on weekends, the freshness started to disappeared gradually. I even regretted to join the contest! However, since it was my own choice to join the team, I should finish my mission. I found my wrong attitude when seeing other students working so hard and our teacher were also taught us elaborately. I started to worked hard and finally found the joy for cyber fair. We even have to work during winter vacation. I tried very hard to finish all the parts like, placed shrimp cage and drawing vision chart so I think everything is worth and I believe if we have will, everything can be done. For me, the most important in the contest is not the award but our attitude. What's the meaning of winning the award without good attitudes? No pain, no gain. With our team work and training during the winter break. We've learned a lot from the teachers about the ecology, environment and pollution issues about Plum Tree Creek and improved lots of capabilities. I'm so grateful for teacher's intension. Now we understand Plum Tree Creek very well. I believe our effort will have a harvest.

This is my first time participated in Cyber Fair. I'm very excited because it's a now or never chance. Before the project started, I thought all we have to do was putting photos and write some information. It turned out to be so different than I thought. Our teacher told us to work hard because they also spent lot of time and money helping us. We had to stay after school and weekends to do the project although it was tiresome. We tested the water, put shrimp cage and so on. I learned that Plum Tree Creek used to be an irrigation system and how to put the cage and identify the plants, animals and insects. It was an eye opening and I learned a lot of knowledge about Plum Tree Creek.

This is my first time to join the cyber fair. Out theme is to study Plum Tree Creek. At the beginning I thought we were just doing the water testing and write some reports. Then I realized we also have to do the painting and interview, which make me feel annoying. A contest seems so easy needs a lot effort indeed. The places that we did the water testing were dirty and smelly, so terrible! Sometimes, I need help from my teachers and classmates to pass through some difficult paths. I think it is so difficult to do the cyber fair. It took lot of time to do lot of things. We even continue our project during the winter break.

Venus

This is my first time to join the cyber fair. I'm so glad our teacher 建興 gave us the chance to join the contest. I hope after the contest I could learn more about the environment, historical sites and ecology about our hometown. At the beginning, it was really tiresome to interview the experts and tested water. But I told myself, teachers helped us to finish the report and the website, they must be more tired than us so I should work harder for my team. I thought it was very interested before we had to finish the report during the winter vacation. But our teacher told us never do things by half. If we wanted to win, we have to work hard because 'No pain, no gain'! I had learned more and more about Plum Tree Creek after finished the report especially its reason of pollution and the ecological problems. I hope everyone can protect Plum Tree Creek together to make it our pride in Zhuwei rather than a smelly ditch.

This is my first time to join the cyber fair. It is new and interested for me. I hope to learn more about Taiwan by this project. Our theme is to study Plum Tree Creek so we used equipments to test its electrical conductivity, pH, oxygen content turbidity and so on. In order to understand it better, we interviewed chief of the village, old residents and the residents. Learned that it used to be a clean and clear rive, after people dropped litter in it and the development, it became a smelly river that everyone keep distance from it. This is why we want to study Plum Tree Creek. The purpose of join the contest is not the award but to increase our knowledge. I never heard about Plum Tree Creek before the cyber fair but know I know how important it is. At first, I was very happy to get the opportunity. But I regretted when knowing that we have to work on weekends. 'Why should I attend?' I shout to myself. But after a long process of discipline, I was no longer to be reluctant! Because there must be something fun in everything. I am also grateful that our teachers bought lots of equipment and taught us attentively. I hope everyone can help to maintain our beautiful Plum Tree Creek.
