Lin, Ting-yu

It has been four months since I became the member of the Cyberfair. I have experienced many things I had never met before. Soon it comes to the end. I have been very excited from the first time’s visit, because that was my first time to go there with teachers and classmates. Then, we interviewed my classmate’s grandma. After the interview, we knew more about Da Chen’s life. The third interview was to visit Mr. Chou about Da Chen’s delicious food and that was the first time I ate Da Chen sticky rice cake. We saw many beautiful clothes and different kinds of beading embroidery at the fourth time we interviewed Hu’s sisters. The Next time we went to other classes and introduced all the things of Da Chen we learned this semester. The sixth time Hu’s sisters came to school and taught us how to make the beading embroidery. We not only realized it is very hard to make clothes, but also learned some skills of sewing. We went to classes of sixth grade and delivered a presentation. Finally, all the activities of this semester ended up. I think Cyberfair is an interesting activity. I not only attended a competition but also did some interviews and experienced many fun things. I will take part in such kind of activity if I have another chance.

Xie, Shao-yun

This is my first time to take part in the Cyberfair. he subject of our study is about Da Chen Loyal people. I was busy but I did many interesting activities during our preparation. Eating the sticky rice cake and making the beading handicrafts were very new to me. T
We went to the library to search for the information but there was only one book can be found. It’s a pity that there were only a few books about Da Chen Loyal people. I hope there could be more information about them. More people can know and learn about Da Chen.

Lin, Jun-han

Da Chen Loyal people and the Wu He New Village are the topic of our project. We searched the data in the library and on the internet. We also interviewed Mr. Zhou and Ms. Hu for their food and handicrafts. Lulu’s grandma told us the history of Da Chen. I learned sewing from the demo class of the beading embroidery. I learned presenting skills from the presentation.
I also understood the origins the Da Chen Loyal people and learned the history of Yonghe.

An Pei-yan

This is my first time to take part in an activity which requires everyone to work together to set a homepage. I was tired and exhausted, but all the efforts are worthy. All the experiences were new to me. I hope more people would know the Da Chen Loyal People via our project.

Zong, Qi-wei

First, I didn’t know what Cyberfair is. However, I took part in it. But, at the beginning of the meeting, we knew nothing. The more meetings we attended, the more I knew about what we have to do. We had ups and down in the past 4 months. We were happy when we had the visits and interviews, but we were upset when we haven’t finished the reviews or working logs. I treasure the special experiences. I wish I could have the chance to take part in the Cyberfair again next year.

Huang, Wen-yu

In the past 3 months, we did a research on the Da Chen Loyal people. We learned their culture, food and history. We knew how difficult and tough their lives were, and their devotion and expectation.
I am grateful to have the chance to study Da Chen and understand their lives. Because of the tough past, we value our lives now. Therefore, it is my opinion that we always learn something new from the history.

Wei, Yu-chen

The Cyberfair is coming to the end. In four months, we experienced a lot of things . First , I was excited to go to the Wu He New Village. We visited Zhou’s sticky rice cake store and went to Granny Zhang’s store to eat lunch. Then, we interviewed Zong Qi Wei’s grandmother. We also interviewed Mr. Zhou and Ms. Hu about the sticky rice cake and the beading embroidery.
We had a presentation and a beading craftsmanship workshop. I learned a lot from the process. I wish I could have another chance to take part in the Cyberfair.

Li, Jie-chang

I have been working for the Cyberfair for almost one semester.
We visited the Wu He New Village to do a research on their living environments. Lulu’s grandma told the history and stories of Da Chen Loyal People. We visited Zhou’s sticky rice cake to learn the process of making the delicious sticky rice cake. The mouthwatering food in the Zhang Xiaoer restaurant surprised us. We knew the value and meaning of the beading embroidery after we visited the Mei-gui workshop. All the activities were impressed. I wouldn’t forget this semester.

Gao, Ruoyu

In the past few months, I had happy and tough times. I made new friends, and we started the project from the discussion of the topic. We searched the data and had the interviews. We filed the data and learned the beading embroidery. We delivered the presentation and now the train is coming to the destination. We devoted all our effort and energy to this project.
We had 10 team members. I was surprised that we were strangers and became a team. I hope everyone could know that there is a Da Chen Island.

Tang, Yong-yan

This was my first time to attend the Cyberfair. I made many friends and learned a lot from the special experiences. I felt happy and upset in these 4 months. I was very nervous at first because I knew nothing about the Cyberfair. I gradually acquainted myself with everything. We visited the Wu He New Village, Hu’s sisters, Lulu’s grandma, and Zhou’s sticky rice cake. We made the beading embroidery and the presentation. I learned a lot from each and every visit. I was happy and glad that I had the chance to be a member of this team.
