English Learning Materials

    MCC English learning materials consist of photos of everyday life in Taiwan and descriptive texts written by native speakers of the English language. They are a great help for students who would like to improve their speaking and writing abilities. Each unit has a list of vocabulary words and Chinese translation. There is an MP3 file recorded by a native speaker for every unit to help students with their listening comprehension and pronunciation. There is also an audio file recorded by a Taiwanese English teacher to help students learn more about a unit. Students can listen to them over and over again at home.

Online Lessons

    MCC English Learning Online Lessons are made by a group of teachers and volunteers who are enthusiastic about English education. They aim to provide students in rural areas with free learning resources. By doing so, we hope to help them to catch up with the city students who have more learning opportunities.

English Newsletters

    Ming Harng Heart is an English newsletter about local culture. It aims to help students talk about the local customs, people and the environment in English.

    Ming Harng Bilingual Garden collects heart-warming stories in the hope of motivating students to study English.

    English for Everybody is an English learning newsletter for local people to improve their spoken English. It collects useful everyday English expressions that are not found in textbooks. There is a section for students to share their English writing with readers.
