As Changhua we have the necessary in-depth introduction to the history and culture of the Xiao-Xi Street, so everyone can understand the historical background and development of the area, to regain the memories of the older generation of the Xiao-Xi Street, to let young people to better understand theirhometown.
2.Save Xiao-Xi culture, promote the development of small communities in the western

Ⅳ. What kind of impact did this Research paper project make on the Xiao-Xi community?
1. Provide thorough introduction of Xiao-Xi community, helping recall the memory of local people.
For now, most people’s impression of Xiao-Xi Street remained limited at the food fields like peitou meatball, cat's mouse noodles, vegetarians’ noodles and sticky rice ball. However, they don’t tend to pay attention to the historical sites, old buildings and images in Xiao-Xi Street. Therefore, since Zhanghua is our hometown, we have to introduce the culture and history here thoroughly to raise people’s awareness, recalling the memory of elder people and also help the young know more about their hometown.
2. Preserve the local culture and boost the development of the community.
Here in this community, there are many scholars who keep working on the preservation and reconstruction of Xiao-Xi culture. They hope that they can preserve the historical sites, old buildings and images here and revive the community. Further, through the reconstruction of lifestyle and spirit, it manifests the mental growth of the people here and boosts the business development. That’s the goal of the sustainable development here.

Ⅵ. Statement of intellectual property rights on the website.
1.Word information
due to the fact that the textual research of history are written in the books, we went to the library of cultural affairs bureau for the historical resources. After getting the permission from the bureau, we cited in our webpage. Another part is through the online searching. Although we didn’t collect large amount of resources, we try our best to seek for the information in the library and repeatedly tested and verified the dependability before cited.
2. Photographs and sound recording
We used the digital cameras and recording pens to shoot or record the visit every time. And we would post the videos and photos online only if we got the permission of the person involved. Most of the photos were shot by us except those old pictures or photos that we cited from the research papers or books. We also would give credits and cite the resources.The content and photos on the website are mostly written and posted by our team with the teacher’s help. During the process, we searched for a lot of historical resources. Besides working together to edit the pictures, records and videos, we discussed it together. In addition, the resource were not only from the books but also from the interview and the online resources. VII. Discoveries, reflections and surprises in the project
1.Discoveries:
before working on this project, we thought that Xiao-Xi Street were just famous for the delicious food. After the visit, we found that there were actually lots of history and memories hidden on the streets. Especially the building part, we could find lots of old business like famous hotels and taverns…etc. Although it’s not as prosperous as before, we could still see the traces left.
2.Reflections:
in this project, we found various historical resources and shot a lots of pictures at first. However, we didn’t know how to sort it out. When we were clueless, teacher’s timely instruction helped us to get on the track by asking about our purposes. After debates and arguments, we finally had an agreement. Later on, we learned that we have to orientate our goal first in order to prevent the upcoming difficulties and the waste of time.
3.Surprises:
After the introduction of two of Mr. Su, we eventually found the hidden celebrity in the Xiao-Xi community—that is, the Giddens. His work called “You are the apple of my eye” had earned an enthusiastic applause last year from the movie fans. Through the project, we visited his home, Ming-Gong drugstore. Although we failed to see him in person after several visits, his mother treated us well
