I hope we could win this competition        Jasmine
This semester, some gift math class classmates and I participated in 2012 Taiwan Schools CyberFair. We needed to build a website for Din Tai Fung. At first I refused the teacher’s invitation without knowing that the topic was on Din Tai Fung. I thought making a website would be hard and exhausting. My friend and team member Monica, who has also participated in 2012 Taiwan Schools CyberFair, said they would be going to Din Tai Fung’s 101 branch restaurant on school days. The visits to the 101 branch became the motivation for me to join the team, and I decided to join this project.
A lot of activities were involved in this competition. We went to Din Tai Fung’s 101 branch and Din Tai Fung central kitchen. The first time we went to Din Tai Fung, we met the access chef. The chef was very nice and he told us the provision of Din Tai Fung.

The second activity was a trip to Din Tai Fung’s central kitchen. Din Tai Fung’s central kitchen is the most important part of Din Tai Fung. It supplies food to every branch store. When we went in, we saw a lot of Din Tai Fung’s famous food such as dumplings. My favorite place was a place that stored dumplings and shrimps, and this room was minus 28°Celsius. I thought it was very cool.
The last activity was to serve the students from Ci-Sain Elementary School in the restaurant. We practiced all the steps during service, and we simulated over again to make sure there would be no problem. But when I actually served, I had some problems. Gladly, my partner and I solved it very quickly. This experience was very precious to us. Afterwards, we had an interview with the boss of Din Tai Fung – Mr. Yang.
I was very happy that I participated in this competition.I learnt a lot of information about Din Tai Fung, and I ate a lot of delicious dumplings, it was delicious! The 2012 Taiwan Schools CyberFair had built up our teamwork. We wrote diaries and held discussions together. It was very fun! I hope we could win this competition!
