Movie’s introduction

“What we want to do is the Din Tao who can earn its own respect from others!”
The background of this movie is set in Taichung. The main actor, A-tai (act by Alan Kuo) is the son of a father who owns a Din Tao troupe in Taichung. From his father’s (act by Chen Po-cheng) point of view, he’s a son who doesn’t know how to respect god and goddess. After A-tai went back to Taichung, he accept the challenge of a long standing rival’s son, A-hsien whose family business is also Din Tao troupe. A-tai took the place as the leader of the troupe and tries to bring it up.

The story is telling about how A-tai bring up the Chio-Tian,a Din Tao troupe, and make it become successful. A-tai trains his members to play drums. At first, the members have complaints because their hands were hurt by practicing drumming. A-tai also has some fight against his members. After the problems are solved, they become more united than before. On the other side, when A-hsien knows the goal which A-tai tries to approach, he also has the same opinion as his. So he decides to take the same path which is a path of blending traditional convention with modern elements with A-tai together. A-hsien wants to make his parents proud of him. A-tai, A-hsien and their members perform drumming which has great impact on audience and dance the new style of Din Tao. This is the Din Tao of this generation.
