Pagu Mt. Environmental Conservation Organization is insitally established by a group of retired teachers with the idea of promoting education, sensibility, ecology, localism and sustainability of the local county on December 20,2003.

　　Those teachers run the orgnaization full heartily with the purpose of continuing the inheritance and sustainability of the local ecology and providing chance s for the younger generation to experience the wonder of the Mother Nature.

　　Under the assistance and support of ChingshueiyanTemple, the organization established the "Ecological Information Center," "Ecological First-aid Station,""Ecological Reservation Area,"and "Insectarium." There are around five hundred of insect specimenin the Insectarium and therefore there is a thorough ecological resource for lizure activity.
