1. The director of the PMECO, Chang, Hung-Chih, found the precious Gunther's frog around Cingshueiyan in Shetou yesterday. Chang mentioned that this kind of frog is also called rain monster and was once numerous;however, they are endangered by people. Chang found a tadpole and a frog and restored them and released them. |

The PMECO worked hard on restore the Xylotrupes dichotomusin Cingshueiyan and the effects were quite well. The amount of Xylotrupes dichotomusin and stag beetles increases in recent years, however, some people still catch those insects for sale illegally. That endangers the Xylotrupes dichotomusin and stag beetles. Therefore, the PMECO appealed the government to do something for it! |
