The Cyber fair contest was really hard for us . But when it was finally over, we saw the sweet results and it made us felt really proud.
When we began to choose the topics, everyone had good ideas. It was amazing that Jay Chou was on the board. Most of our classmates like to travel, so they voted for Smangus.
After we agreed that “Smangus” was our topic, we began to search for information write our outlines, main points and questions. Most of our team members were studied hard. We used information from the internet and tried to find the books and dissertations from the library.
We discussed the project with each other whenever we had free time. We were satisfied with our performance after we spent a lot of time to finish the structure of our topics. We collected lots of interesting topics about Smangus.
We arranged to visit “Smangus” however the weather was not good at that time. It was not easy for us to get a reservation at the hotel. A typhoon came and went. It disturbed our decision about chosing the Smangus. We thought about changing the topic, but finally decided to keep our topic the same and to continue. It was a good challenge and a wonderful experience for us.
When the schedule was confirmed, we prepared to interview lots of people. I was assigned to interview a presbyter called “Yuraw Icyang” . He was handsome, humorous and sincere. I learned a lot about the history of smangusand the operating systems from him. We looked around the tribes and joined in some activities with the residents and other visitors. The trip help us to understand our research information.
We began to write the articles and to faced this challenge after we went back to school. We wrote several articles in a week. Even through we were tired, we never complained.
The biggest challenge was to write the whole assignment in English. It was a good experience for us. We have learned a lot of English since kindergarten but we never wrote about one topic together. It took three weeks for us to finish writing the assignment in English. We were happy once we finished the writing the assignment. Then we would concentrate on the last part, the website.
We used computer progrraming to write the game of the web. It only took us two days and it was really unique and special. I hoped that all the people would enjoy our design.
It was a wonderful experience for us. I hope that we will win and have a lot of success in the future.
