The black tribe - Smangus was our subject after several times of discussions about the network exposition.
At first, what all I knew was it was a strange tribe to live in the mountains of Taiwan, they have a very special culture. Though it was not easy for us,some grade six students, to overcome the bumpy road, we still decided the field visits. It attracted us deeply to understand of the mysterious tribe culture.
Our teachers used class time to talk about the legends and current status of Smangus.
We soon found many research reports for references, and read with our family after school together. We looked for informations on the Internet and wrote the abstracts.
After discussing with teachers and schoolmates, we drew up the outlines and visited eagerly on the spot.
The weather was changeable there.Unfortunatelly the weather was bad when we wanted to set out ,so we put off the schedule. At that time everybody thought about changing the subject.
After talking about several times, we decided not to give up the plan. Finally, we finished the interview successfully. The only pity is on the first visit that the chieftain temporarily descent the mountain urgently. However, the other clansmen were also very kind to give us many illustrations which made us get a lot.
After interviewing, we worked a team to translate the proper nouns and the confused speech. If it’s still not understandable,we consulted our parents, foreign language teachers or surfing the web.
I really thank my parents .If they did not give up the recreation time to accompanied me to look up the data and reorganized all the documents, my willpower could not hold up stull now and I would give up on the halfway. Now, the most difficult part has been completed, and I think the greatest achievement is the power of working together . A small potato can also become a big shot.
