/Slibu waterfalls/ |
The Slibu Trail is a new trail developed by Smangus tribe. You can enjoy the magnificent waterfalls in summer, and feel the deep sense of autumn by the trail along the maple leaves of liquidambar, subcostate crape myrtle, rhus and other plants. |

The direction is from the tribe to the giant tree area if you want to go to Slibu waterfalls. There is a nameplate on the bifurcation of Slibu falls and the giant tree zone not far from the trailhead. Go down the road, you can reach the Slibu Falls. |
In the beginning, there is a wide road and a large bamboo area which has the vast view of mountains and it is a good location to observe eagles. |
It turns to be a narrow path when you go into the forest. The trail begins with two simple wooden bridges. Keep going down, you can see a lot of unserviceable wood that was used to grow mushrooms. |
After passing the mushroom garden, you can hear the sound of water flow and see a bamboo bridge which is a good place for sight-viewing and photo-taking near the waterfall. |
