Marriage is the most important thing for race continuation, so Tnunan will raise money and efforts to help young people in the organization to complete their engagement and wedding.

The newlyweds in Tnunan will obtain NT$200,000 of marriage grant. It would make them happily and easily complete their weddings.

When we joked if someone who marries many times would make a fortune, they stopped smiling. They solemnly told us that Atayals value monogamy greatly. It has never occurred that an Atayal married many times. However, there may be some exceptional situations; for example, when someone’s spouse died or his marriage is not good, if the situation is not the fault of him or her, the case would be submitted to tribal council for council’s decision.

Atayal is so serious about marriage! They really taught us a lesson.
