Kids are the tribe’s future so education is the most important thing. When Smangus tribe is working on Tribal business, all people decided to put down all themselves and think for future generations. Every kid now becomes the tribe’s kid. Therefore, the tribe education fund pays all the expense.	Smangus' education plan
Tunan pay all the fees such as living and textbook expenses for Tribe’s kids from elementary, junior high, senior high school, university even graduate school. Children also receive a 500 to 1,000 monthly subsidy, while children under 1 receive 2,000 per month for nutrition food.
When we asked what will they do if money is not enough. The smangus people just smiled and said if the money is not enough, they would take more from adults for children’s tuition because education is the most important issue above all. However, luckily, this scenario never happens.
