/Start of Operation/
Ya-Zhu Restaurant’s success experience of co-operation initiated the model of cooperative labor society.
16 members of 8 families in the tribe decided to co-operate restaurants, shops and villa in 2001. Mode of operation was jointly operated organization, implementation, monitoring management system of checks and balances.
Villa-booking and meal-booking services for visitors are both arranged by the service group. 70% of their incomes are allotted to households. 20% are for tribal public development and expend of the villas. 10% are for paying debts.
At the beginning, incomes did increase. However, when the peach- harvesting season came in July, new problems appeared. Clansmen who had peach farms could not take care of both the peach- harvesting and the co-operation. The others felt that they had to pay more attention to the co-operation but they could not get incomes from peaches. A crisis seemed to emerge, but all the problems were solved after the visit to Israel.
