In the past, I could never have imagined ever going back to school as a student over the age of seventy. My daughter always asked me, “Mom, why do you like going to school so much? I would reply, “Because, not only can I gain more knowledge going to Xinsong elementary supplementary school, I can also chat and sing with the classmates. Every time I went to school, it made me happy, and this way I won’t have Alzheimer.” Since becoming an “old” student, I worked diligently on the assigned homework. Although I have poor eyesight, and slow writing speed, I would always work hard to finish the homework. I am grateful for having given the opportunity to study at Xisong Elementary School. I even made a lot of new friends. I would like to thank the principal and teachers of Xisong Elementary School for their efforts and patience. I hope the Supplementary School Program would continue, so other seniors may step out of their homes and step into the schools; in the hope to enrich their own lives.
