I was born in a poor family. Therefore, in order to survive we would have to work at a very young age and we were unable to go to school. After years of hard work, my children had all grown-up, had families and careers of their own. I wanted to learn to read, and reduce some of the daily life inconveniences; so I came to Xisong Elementary School to study. Now I can read the information written at the bus stop, and recognize the names of the streets and roads. Everything has changed for me. I would like to thank the teachers who worked hard to teach me. By going to school, not only had I gained more knowledge, I had also made many good friends; hence, life is more exciting.
