Thoughts after Interviewing Minister Huang

To me, Minister Huang is a preacher who teaches Bible and leads us to church on Sundays.  After I went to interview him with teachers and the team, I found out that he not only preached but also counseled in prisons to help those who had committed crimes repent and be reborn again under the guide of God.

Minister is such a man.

He was baptized and believed in God when he was little.  He could feel God was leading him on his growth.

While interviewing him, besides answering our questions, he also taught us the philosophy how to be a decent person.

I thought he was a minister at church, but he actually was a minister in prisons.  He has gone to church since he was little.  He is a pious Christian because the religion gave him a positive view of life.  He said that whenever he encountered problems, he prayed unto God.  Although he is not a minister at church but in prisons, he still goes to church every Sunday.  During the interview, we learned that he also counseled Chen Jinxing who was a very bad guy, but Minister Huang still helped him.  He said, ¡§As long as one understands repentance, God gives that person an opportunity.¡¨  I really admire him after listening to him.

Minister Huang said, ¡§If I preach to 200 people, I will be very happy if only one or two people accept my teachings.¡¨  We asked, ¡§Are there many people who don¡¦t accept?¡¨  He replied, ¡§Of course, but I never give up on them.  I accept them, and then they will accept me gradually.¡¨  After the interview, I felt he was a man with kind heart and he was very brave as well.  He preached in prisons and made many criminals accept the salvation of Jesus Christ.  Chen Jinxing was a good example.

After the interview, I was really moved.  He went to prisons to preach the gospel and enlighten their hearts, which ordinary people could not accomplish, but he made it.  He has been to many international prison conferences and visited many prisons all over the world.  He also has abundant experiences counseling prisoners.  Being the leader of Prison Fellowship, he contributed a lot on enlightenment, rebuilding victims¡¦ families, counseling criminals and caring victims.  I learned from this interview that people should not do wrong things and should not do something you know it shouldn¡¦t be done.  We have to be away from crimes so that we can avoid committing crimes.
