Thoughts of Interviewing Minister Huang

Every one has different dreams and aspiration; likewise, Minister Huang has a different dream.  He has counseled many people and helped them change for good and not to repeat their mistakes again.  This is his dream.  If half the people he has counseled can repent, recidivism rate in Taiwan will reduce.  If recidivism rate reduces, the number of prisoners will decrease.  If the number of prisoners can decrease, our society can be harmonious. 

Minister Huang found out that many prisoners had been sent to jail when they were little.  He also found out that younger a person committed crime, harder the person repent and later the person leave the prison.  In order to reduce youth crime rate, Minister Huang thought that homes were the places to begin with.  Most parents teach their children improperly, so their children do bad things.  For this reason, he not only counsels prisoners in jail to help them walk in a righteous path, but he also established Youth Academy to take in children who are victims of domestic violence and give them a loving home where people really care about them.  It is also a place offering delinquent juveniles opportunities to repent. 

Minister Huang’s dream is incredibly great.  Every one has his or her own dreams to fulfill step by step.  Never daydream without execution.  In order to make his or her dreams come true, some people work very hard.  Others may go astray, lose themselves and be kept in jail.  With the power of the church, Minister Huang established Youth Academy, which is his dream.  He hoped that he can help to reduce crime rate for the society and the teenagers could work hard for their future.  Many people have graduated from this school, and they are working hard whether for their work or study.  Minister Huang was not confident if he had helped these people successfully, but I think it is already a great success.  After all, not everyone can help a prodigal son return.
