- How does this project go with the Nine-Year Joint Curricula Plan we use at school?
The purpose of Nine-Year Joint Curricula Plan is to make the education more adaptable to strengthen the share resources network of family, school and community. As a part of the community, we should put more efforts on advertising my hometown and inspiring habitant’s willing to learn, organize and improve the ability of adaptation. But what we had tought at school couldn’t really find out if students need help or run into troubles. In a high tech age now, Internet can reach everywhere and through this research project, we could prove the Information Education of Nine-Year Joint Curricula Plan helps students to learn in an equitable environment-means the better information you have, the better result you get. - How did we do the role play of “Ambassador” through internet, individual or groups?
Doing the project, we contacted the chefs through the phone and well expressed the interests and cares we had in this project to give some contribute for our hometown. After a few calls, we decided the meeting detail and visited the chefs with expectancy to know more about the development and present situation of Zhong-Po-Shai in Nei Men Township and hope people can learn more about the culture via our project on the website. We did get a bunch of information and build a good relationship with the community although the procedure we went through wasn’t that easy.
- What effects and conflicts did we get from the project?
Started in caring ourselves and focused on learning by doing, each of the members got the chance to know the community environment and because of this, we had built a closer relationship. When doing the project, we worked patiently, cooperated well as well as organized the time in an efficient way. We learnt how to live to be ourselves and hope what we had done can make some efforts for the community and also help us to be open-minded.
- Copyright and data used
During the project, we noticed the copyright problem so we did ask for the chefs agreements on the notes and pictures we took before making it public and also we did list out the websites and books we took as a reference. Here we would like to thank the chefs for providing all the details.
- Exploration, lesson learnt and things surprised
During the project, we realized that there are too many things in life ignored by us and so there are many things needed to be explored and experienced. Also, we needed to remind each other to focus and cooperate to complete the mission. We were surprised to know that the chefs went through the difficulty of limited areas, and still worked hard and lived hard. We also found out that there are too much knowledge needed to be explored and understood and I believe that all of us do have unlimited potentials.
