Our teachers' encouragement

Using an ordinary but unpredictable ball, a normal but highly publicized net, and a group of competitions with high class sportsmanship tells the glorious deeds ....

In order to welcome the World Games 2009 in Kaohsiung and also cooperate with our adopting tchoukball activity, students picked tchoukball as their graduation project in the gifted class. Most of our students in this research team are not athletes, even they had few chances to play tchoukball in their PE class, and everything about tchoukball was still a blur. Moreover, three of us were laymen of all the ball games, the only thing we could do was showing spirit - Never Give Up. The research started a bit slowly because as the team advisors, we did not know where and how to start. There were a few times when we tried to tell our students to quit doing this topic, but after having several meetings and many discussions, we slowly built up the structure and direction of this research, and then we gained our confidence back.

We participated in the tchoukball game of at Sports Day of All Citizens in Kaohsiung and our students had interviews with the game players, coaches, and audience. In the game, we accidently met the national representatives of the male tchoukball team who are going to go to the World Games 2009 in Kaohsiung. This was the first time we met the national team coaches and players, we just learned a very important thing that Taiwan's tchoukball performance is at the top in the tchoukball world by interviewing them. They also have a high possibility to win in the Worldgames in Kaohsiung next year. They are the pride of Taiwan.
