　　Other than vegetable patches, behind the kitchen is the pig pen; the pigs are another source of food for the inmates. However, early on there were foot-and-mouth disease and avian flu outbreaks, and no pigs were allowed in the prison, so later on the pig pen was no longer used.

Also, the pig pen has ventilation and lighting, and the pigs even have more living space than the inmates. Each day, they eat the "freshest" leftovers, and they are even bathed and massaged by the inmates. It is no exaggeration to say that these lucky pigs are the most beloved pets of the inmates.
