　　In front of the first factory, this is where the Department of Education and Instruction is located, and frequently used for speeches, performances, and rehearsals. Senior professors or psychological counselors would be invited from outside the prison to give speeches here; this was an important place to instruct the inmates. In addition, sometimes meaningful movies are shown for the audience here, and there were projectors, rare at the time. Music or speeches can also be played through the public address system for group instruction.
