Bridge donations: within the organization, bridge-building donations are divided into the following three types
- The first type is 100 NT dollars paid per person at the bridge building merit association per term; each term is three months long, there are four terms per year. Currently, 150,000 participate in this, thus in each term 15 million NT dollars can be received.
- The second type is the standing member fee; each member pays 150 per month, for a total of 1,200 per year. Entrance to the Organization requires 500 entrance fee.
- The third type is the work donation; the amount varies. This is primarily used to purchase the construction machinery used for building bridges.
Funerary subsidy donations:
- Each person can donate a funerary subsidy of 30,000, and the Chia-yi Charity Organization arranges funerary giving.

- The local donation-collectors are elected by the Council.
- Other social welfare groups have also donated to Chia-yi Charity Organization. For example, in 2007 Cheng Su foundation donated a total of two million NT dollars to Chia-yi Charity Organization.
- The bridge-building costs not only come from donations, but the local officials also apply for subsidies from the government. However, due to legal stipulations, the government can only subsidize construction materials such as concrete and stones.
Chia-yi Charity Organization has now built bridges all over Taiwan with the “power of 100 dollars,” and donations continue to pour into the Organization. We believe that with the effort of the public, the “hundred dollar miracles” of Charity Organization can shine on many people in society!
