We found this restaurant in the Dainty Newsletter and when we were about to go for it, a teacher recommended it to us, saying: “this restaurant is great!” Sun Yuen serves sesame oil dried string noodles, sesame oil soup string noodles and sesame oil chicken string noodles, at reasonable prices. We ordered sesame oil dried string noodles and soup string noodles. Most kids prefer the dried string noodles richer in flavour and free of alcoholic smell, whereas the teachers prefer the sesame oil soup string noodles since the string noodles taste pretty smooth in the soup slightly flavoured with mellow alcohol. Mr. Hou, the boss who used to be the western-food chef of the Grand Hotel, was very amiable. In spite the long queue at noon, he still made time to answer all the questions asked and showed us how to scoop the string noodles. This restaurant uses the products of Ri Fa String noodles Factory on Baoyi Road, Mucha, in consideration of the good taste of the Mucha string noodles.
