Cheng-hsiung Wan ->

Mr. Wan is the president and founder of the association. He created a large number of musical instruments. He and his neighbors and family worked together to build the "little cottages" in Siraya Green Valley. He is truly good at building houses, writing songs, composing, making instruments, cooking, weaving bamboos, and singing. His children also inherit his gifts, showing their talents in art and photography. They are all versatile people. Mr. Wan has been dedicated to promoting the idea of group identity and spreading the fine Siraya culture.

Shu-chuan Wan ->

She is the director-general of the association. She plans every activity in the association. She and her family worked with some of the elders and deacons in the church to establish the association. Together with her husband, she teaches children how to sing, dance, and speak the Siraya language in the Siraya Bamboo Ensemble. She writes things and she translates lyrics. She and her husband are working on promoting Siraya culture. They are especially devoted to art, music and the revival of the Siraya language.

Yi-chia Wan(Edgar L. Macapili) ->

Yi-chia is Director-General Wan's husband. He is Philippine and he studies religious music. Yi-chia is expert at applying local music, language and instruments to composing and arranging songs. He has finished a series of Siraya songs. These songs are expected to be released next year along with the Siraya music dictionary. The songs performed by the Siraya Bamboo Ensemble were written and composed by him. Currently he teaches members in the association to speak the Siraya language. He really tries hard to look for the missing parts of the Siraya language and study the language itself. He and his better half are responsible for the performance affairs in the Siraya Bamboo Ensemble.

Tsui-li Cho ->

Miss Cho is the director of the association. She handles some affairs in the association. Besides, she accompanies in the Siraya Bamboo Ensemble. That is, she beats the bamboo bucket, plays the bamboo pipe and the bamboo harmonica. When the Siraya Bamboo Ensemble is practicing, she will prepare some food and snacks. She also makes the props for the performances. For example, in 2002, she worked night and day to make the props for the musical Noah's Ark in Sin Hua Junior High School. Most importantly, she is Pei-rong's mom; she really takes good care of us all.

Jun-ming Wan ->

Jun-ming is the eldest son of President Wan. He is responsible for recording the performances of the Siraya Bamboo Ensemble. In addition, he devotes himself to natural preservation. He is very interested in nature. If you have any questions about some plants or birds, just go ask him. He can distinguish most the birds' voices. Jun-ming also spent three years videotaping many birds and insects to introduce them to people. He hopes that he can help people get to know nature and be more willing to cherish it.

Li-jun Mu ->

Li-jun is Jun-ming's wife. She is the secretary of the Siraya Culture Association, in charge of daily affairs, documents and other paperwork. Her voice is a godsend. She also accompanies in the Siraya Bamboo Ensemble. Namely, she beats the bamboo bucket, plays the bamboo pipe and the bamboo harmonica, and so on.

Hui-jun Hu ->

Hui-jun was our schoolmate in Sin Hua Junior High School. She's older than us by two years. She is responsible for the production of bookmarks and the front cover of the illustrated books of Noah's Ark. She is also a senior member in the Siraya Bamboo Ensemble. Although she is only a freshman in senior high school, she is gifted in many ways. She is not only good at painting and music but also good at writing!
