Birds Singing, Bugs Chirping, the Beauty of the Surprising Tavokan...
III. Dancing with Rejoice in the Forest
1. How It Gets Started |
Sin-hua, known as "Tavokan" in
history, means "mountainous landscape" in Siraya. In the year
2000, the Kou-pi Church maintained its consistent affection
toward the surroundings, emphasizing on the experiencing and
recording of the ecology, using "Dancing with Rejoice in the
Forest" as the theme to express the peaceful, intimate, and
inseparable interrelationship between humanity and the land,
and hoping to guide the general public to think about the
environmental issues.
2. Significance of the
Totem
The colorful tone of the post is used to express the
happiness from the bottom of the heart and the intimate
relationship between people and Nature. The plural form
of the people and a big tree symbolize the extension
of lives granted by the land and its people. The "tree,"
like a new harbor and shelter, breeds many forest romances
on earth. The mutual law of living for all tribes in
the nature has been respect, love, and dedication. |
