Starting from September till the coming end of February, a whole half a year is to be over so soon. There seems to be still something I haven’t done yet or something worthy of exploration once again. But time passed so quickly. Although this was the third time that I joined the project, I was still trying to figure out things. To complete a thing, besides inspiring creativity, there must be a certain process that allows things to be done more easily and effectively. The team for this year should be a good one. From composing the team, planning the theme and various subject matters to leading the team back to the Old Paiwan Village every Wednesday and Saturday, I recalled the homeland-led path where we walked through narrow roads or waved our sickles to move forward. I could not remember how many times I fell and the embarrassment of slipping down. But on the other hand, who could enjoy such? What about the achievement? Well, it is not what we concern, because the purpose of this activity is to provide students with another kind of learning. No matter the method, attitude or subject matter involved in this project is all beyond what an elementary school can offer. It is worthwhile as long as they get the feelings. A few at-site reports from students were recorded below as reflections on their participation. Let’s share their memories!
