The Siraya Musical - Noah's Ark

This is a revised story based on a Bible story "Noah's Ark." Issued in 2002, the booklet went along with the musical "Noah's Ark." This lovely book is significant because it is first bilingual storybook in both Mandarin and Siraya languages, composed by our alumni, Hui-jun Hu, a ninth grader then.

Musical Drama of Noah's Ark in Siraya

On December 27th, 2002, the association showcased a musical "Noah's Ark" in Sin Hua Junior High School. The show presented the Siraya version of the Bible story by songs and dances, all included in this DVD. The two actresses, Pei-rong and Bai-qil, were also among this website design team.

Ancient Legends Are Flowing - the Collection of the Siraya Songs

The Music CD covers Siraya Culture Association's self-produced Siraya songs over the years. Performed by Yi-chia Wan(Edgar L. Macapili), Siraya Bamboo Ensemble, the Kou-pi Church choir, the CD leads the listeners to another world by the clearly resounding bamboo music and purely melodious songs.

Classical postal card~made by hand

The finely handmade card are designed and painted by Edgar L. Macapili. They are unique and rich in siraya characteristics, and on them are also printed with siraya songs. These delicate cards are especially suitable to be used as greeting cards or postcards. Three different versious of cards are in a set.

It's printed with a part of the siraya song w m ka mu-nonang n in front, and on the back printed with Chinese words which means I met a bird on the mountain trail ; it's made in 3 colors: red, black and white. Dancing with Rejoice in the Forest

This is an ecological documentary in Sin-hua's neighborhood, an extension of Siraya Culture Association's caring for the environment and humanity over the years. The thirty-minute documentary was produced, filmed and narrated by Jun-ming Wan. The soundtrack music was composed by Yi-Chia Wan(Edgar L. Macapili), a local singer.
