Delivering coal to West Africa After investigating Lian Chia-en's story, we realize that we really need to be thankful for having such loving families and being able to grow up in Taiwan. We also realized that we need to help the poor and those in need, so that they may be as happy as us! Through our interviews, we have found out that Lian Chia-en's orphanage in West Africa is in need of funds. 100 NT could sustain a child for a month. As long as we spend less of our allowance, we can help the orphans in West Africa. Thus, we started a program called "Delivering coal to West Africa," a fundraising event that is just starting up!
