The lighthouse is built on the surface of the barn on top of No. 1 Wharf in the Taichung Harbor in 1982. The lighthouse was equipped with the third-class rotated-lens electric lamp, which was moved from the Gaomei Lighthouse. The lighthouse shone three white flashes consecutively every thirty seconds with 1,500,000 candlepower light. |
