Afterthoughts:
In this CyberFair event from school, I had learnt skills in website management and had improved a lot in operating computers. After further coming to know the scenery spots in this village I also gained new views and a new responsibility towards them. I hope to, through this event, introduce this village to even more tourist, so as to promote the tourism industry and benefit and villagers.

From an educational perspective, in this event I believe that the students had, under the dedicated guidance from the big-brothers and big-sisters from NPUST, other then having gained a deeper level of understanding on the local tourism spots and aboriginal culture, were also planted with cultural seeds in their hearts, and they shall one day grow to be supports for aboriginal culture.

The great assistance from the Hope Agent Association, which allowed this event to be conducted smoothly, is much appreciated, and to Mei-ru, Ying-cheng, Wen-shian, Yu-hsuan and Ai-lun, from the NPUST Department of Information, I want to say that every time I saw your dedication I was really moved. I remember once when we interviewed an elder, it was really cold and also rained, but when I looked back at you in the rear-view mirror, I saw you following close to car, against the cold winds and streaking rain and almost soaking wet in your rain-coats, so that we could complete our schedule. There was also another time when you kept moving forward on the winding forestry road to Laiyi Village , but even though it was covered in dust and dirt you still made it to the Old Village . These events were encouragements for me in making this event as best as possible.

Footsteps follow one's path, and I am really glad to have walked here in my life.

Our school's website was made from nothing, all thanks to the hard work by the students from HPUST. During this period, I learned how to build websites, and also gained a deeper understanding of Paiwan Culture. I hope to be able to participate again the next time.

Afterthoughts:
As the Guidance-teacher, I am really happy to have participated in the CyberFair with the children, who had learnt happily during the various activities and gladly received the guidance from the extraordinary students from NPUST. I also want to thank the Event's sponsor and the students who worked hard in teaching the children, so that they were able to experience a lesson in learning.

The activities of this event mainly focused on Nationalism, and by visiting the Old Village, Shelefafawu Park, the local elders and sculpture-artists, the children had not only gained more knowledge about the home they grew up in, but also further developed nationalistic sentiments. The use of digital technology also not only allowed the children understand their home but also taught them information management skills. The event was truly filled with rewards and I would like to again give my thanks here.

When we started to learn the knowledge of website, the big brothers and sisters of NPUST taught us how to use the keyboards, and then draw self-portraits. Next, we were required to write down afterthoughts of every class. In addition to the computer class, they also led us (Dian-chiang, Nian-ci, Hui-rong, Hao-wei and me) to make an interview with the masters of sculpture and embroidery and the chieftain of Laiyi Village West Tribe. The interview involved the processing method of wood sculpture and embroidery, and the way to control tribal people.
