The food of potato, regardless of that is made by its root, top of bud or leaflet, is always suitable for our people. It could be one of the most representative local cuisines. In order to introduce the methods of how to eat the sweet potato, we classify them as staple food, snack, and cooked food and we will show up some recipes of these types via the easy and convenient methods, such as steaming, cooking, roasting, stir-frying, deep-frying, decocting or burning, by using the materials that are easy to get.

Material:

Delicate leaf of potato: 1 Bowl

Apple: 1/2 PC

Lemon: 1 PC

Cuisine:

1. Clean the delicate  leaf of the sweet  potato, and then  slice them off, put  them in a bowl.

2. Cube Apple.

3. Put a bowl of cold  boiled water, the  delicate leaf and  the cubed apple  into the juice mixer  and mix them.

4. Finally, add lemon  juice and mix  evenly.

Note: Drinking the soup while ready at once will have good effect on smoothing lung and expelling the body toxin. Drink 300 cc 30 minutes before having a meal will get better effect.

Gold sweet potato steamed dumplings

 
     
 

Material:

Sweet potato: 600g

Powder of sweet potato: 1 cup

Powder of glutinous rice: 4 spoons

Thin sugars: 6 spoons

Powder of peanut or sesame: 1 cup

 

Cuisine:

1. Steam the sweet potato,  and then pestle to mire.

2. Mix the glutinous rice  powder with 2 spoons of  hot water, and then join  the sweet potato mire and  powder. Knead them into  dough or triangle

3. Mix the powder of peanut  and thin sugar, serve as  stuffing for dumplings.

4. Frying or cooking by  water will bring special  features.

Material:

1. Sweet  potato mire:  1200 g,
2. Powder of  sweet  potato: 2  cups
3. Salt: 1/2 tea  spoon
4. Twisted  meat: 300 g.
5. Cabbage:  600 g or  bamboo  shoot: 600g
6. Shrimp: 3 g 7. Scallion: 3  Pc
8. Sesame  seed oil: 1  teaspoon.
9. Soy bean: 1  tea spoon
10. Wine 1/2  spoon
11. Oil: 3  spoon

Cuisine:

1. Join potato mire with  salt and powder of  sweet potato and  knead them to dough.
2. Stir the soybean, wine,  and sesame seed oil  into the twisted meat to  make them delicious.
3. Mince the cabbage  finely, soft them with  salt, throw away the  humidity.
4. Mince the scallion,  clear up the shrimp 。
5. Warm the pan with oil,  stir-fry the scallion,  shrimp skin; Fry several  descend to be the  stuffing for dumpling.
6. Divide the sweep  potato dough in to 30  pcs and stuff and put  them on the leaf of  peach or cabbage,  steaming them about 8  minutes.

Sweet potato cheese rice

 
     
 

Material:

1. Sweet  potato: 1PC
2. A slice of  cheese.
3. Rice: 1 cup 4. Water: 1cup 5. Salt: 1 tea  spoon
6. Oil: 1/3  spoon.

 

Cuisine:

1. Washing rice, then join  a cup of water to soak  15 minutes.
2. Cub the sweet potato  and slice the cheese for  back up.
3. Put the cubed sweet  potato and oil to the  rice, and mix for a  while.
4. Place them on the pot  for steaming; you can  eat them at once after  adding on the cheese  slice and stirring them  with salt.

Potato silk cake

 
     
 

Material:

(1) Sweet  potato: 1PC  about 600g (2) River  shrimp: 150g (3) Parsley :  1/2 cup
(4) Egg: 1 Pc (5) Flour: 2/3  Cup
(6) Sugar : 1  spoon
(7) White  pepper: 2  spoon
(8) Salad oil: 1  spoon
(9) Salt: 3 tea  spoon
(10) Water : 2 spoon

Cuisine:

(1) Slice off the sweet  potato after washing  clearly, chop the  parsley after washing  clearly; watch the river  shrimps clearly and dry  them, use the hot oil to  fry the shrimp and  parsley to be crisp.
(2) Stir the materials of the  item (1) with the egg  and all seasonings. This  is the cake stuff.
(3) Warm the oil in  advance. Prepare wood  scoop with a little water  to take the cake stuff.  Put the cake stuff on the  front side of the wood  scoop to fit the size of  the scoop and the  thickness of cake stuff  is around 1 cm with  around 3~4 spoons of  cake stuff. Put the cake  stuff in the pot slightly  from outside to inside.  Make the cake stuff  into cake-shape. Fry  one side of the potato  silk cake about 3-4  minutes, turn over and  fry again until the  surface to be golden  color.
(4) Use the oil web to  take out the cake and  drip oil.

The coconut sweet potato ball

 
     
 

Material:

1. Sweet  potato: 300  grams
2. Coco syrup:  2 bottles
3. White  powder  (cooking  starch): 50  grams.
4. The  glutinous rice  powder: 200  grams
5. Salad oil: 1  spoon
6. Water: 1/2  cup
7. Salt 1/4 cup;  Sugar:fewer.

Cuisine:

1. Slice off the sweet  potato and put them on  the cooker (or  steamer). . Steam the  sweet potato, then  pestle to mud, as the  sweet potato was hot. 2. Put white powder  (cooking starch);  glutinous rice powder  and water, then knead  to dough with long  shape.
3. Slice off and pestle the  dough to ball shape,  then the sweet potato  ball is ready.
4. Put the sweet potato  ball to the hot boiled  water for cooking,  scoop out immediately  while the ball is float
5. Put 2 cup of water into  the coco sugar syrup  and boil, and add  seasonings with few  sugar and 1/4 spoon of  salt. Finally, join the  cooked sweet potato  ball and mix them and  then complete.

 

Remarks: You can use taro replace to sweet potato, then the cuisine will change to coco taro.

Sweet potato mud fish roll

 
     
 

Material:

1.White fish:  300 grams 2.Sweet  potato: 1 PC 3.Material of  noodles  dough: 4.Flour 1 &  1/2 cup 5.Soda  powder: 1  spoon
6.Oil: 2 spoon 7.Water: 1cup 8.The sugar,  salt, oil is  each few.

 

Cuisine:

1. Steam the sweet  potato, then pestle to  mud. Mix it with  seasonings evenly.
2. The fish is inclined to  cut into the thin slice.  Spread up the sweet  potato mud on the fish  slices, and roll them.
3. To make the finished  fish roll to be stained  with the noodles dough,  and put them in the pot  and fry until golden  color.

Steamed pork rib with powder

 
     
 

Material:

1.Sweet  potato: 200  gram
2.Port rib:  500g 3.Scallion: 2  PC
4.Garlic: 5 PC 5.Ginger: 3 ~ 5  PC
6.Cuisine pack  of steaming  meat: 2 pack 7.Soybean: 3  spoons. 8.Sugar: 1 tea  spoon 9.Pepper:  fewer

 

Cuisine:

1. Peel a sweet potato  and cube, put them  under the dish. Cut the  scallion to section, peel  the garlic and pestle it.
2. Mix “scallion, ginger,  garlic slice, soy bean,  sugar, pepper and  water evenly. Then  preserve the port rib  with all of them for 30  miniatures.
3. Stain the cured  preserved pork ribs  with the powder of  steaming meat.
4. Put the port ribs above  on the sweet potato,  and then steam them in  the pot by fire for one  hour. You can also  steam it with a rice  cooker with 3 cups of  water. They will finish  after the rice cooker is  turn off.
