The petroleum is exploited and from the ground. Since it is raw materials of oil refining, it is called the crude oil.
Most of crude oil exploited out by the ground is dark brown liquid with smelly odors. Crude oil does not have any practical value except burning. It should pass through a succession of processes, called “oil refining.”
The method of crude oil reining is developed by many engineers and researchers. Although we have many different kind of refining method, we have to choose the best one by the source and quality of crude oil, economy and practicability of the product, working environment, and environmental protection of nature.
