1976 Got First Prize on Chinese Composition of Seven Counties in the South
1977 Graduated by “Mayor Award” from You-Chang Elementary School
1980 Suffered from CHF, and became blind because of an erroneous diagnosis；The first time fighting with the Death
1981 The fingers of his hands are badly twisted, and the joints of his hands starts to degenerate and became disconnected；Starts to play jazz tom-toms and tries to make “paper-clay art”
1985 Exchanging natural joints into artificial joints, caused by the wish to study in high-school. Unfortunately, he accidentally suffered from salicylic acid toxication when having the therapy. It damaged nerves of the face, and influenced the nerves of the root of his tongue, and causes handicapped of language.
1989 Starts to make clay art.
1990 Finished the lessons of High-school.
1991 Awarded “Blind people’s creating award” and a composition award. John donated all the money he got from these awards. Awarded “Global Handicapped-people’s talents award’s” jazz tom-tom award.
1992 Participate in the circuit performance of the special talents held by the Ministry of Education.
1993 John went to the USA with his sister. He participated in short-term pottery art course during this time and received the definite and appreciation of the pottery art professor.
During in the USA, because the high fever, John was in hospital for three months.
Fought with the Death for the third time.
1994 Accept the treatment in the hospital in USA, he recovered and returned to Taiwan.
1995 He participated in the article solicitation of one program, he won the first prize. The prize was a CD that worth ten thousand dollars. John donated the prize to the TMSB.
1996 He participated in the solicitation of the Taichang Writing Association and obtained an award. He donated the five thousand dollars to the CMSB.
John walked out of his closed world. He served as the You-Chang church’s drummer.
1997~1998 Served in the Spring Orchestra as a drummer.
1998 President Lee visited John in Nantze district, and indicated Kaohsuing government to establish the Kiwi Orchestra.
2001 John held 'the pottery art exhibition of life' in the Kaohsiung Cultural Center. The people to echoed warmly. President Chen comes to the meeting-place personally to visit the exhibition. He praises John as ' the Warrior of life '. John sold the income of 325,000 dollars and donated to six charity groups of Kaohsiung.
The educational centre of the information of bureau of education of government of Kaohsiung, combine with scientific and technological information in order to popularize humanity, the network special issue of special planning, regard blue John as the protagonist, is called <The Kiwi in the city - John > .
John was invited to Mainland China to make a performance tour with Kiwi orchestra. They are welcomed warmly by the local government and Taiwanese workers.
On October 24, 'John's foundation ' was established.

August, Reporter Cai of TTV, shot John as the main charcter in the documentary film named <the Kiwi in the city>. This film was selected the third in ' the southern film show '. The film was issued in the film library of Kaohsiung and obtaind the warm and favorable comment.
John went to several junior-high and senior-high school to performance.
December, John goes to U.S.A. again.
2004 Kiwi orchestra participated in Kaohsjung municipal government ' life-long education ' opening ceremony performance.
May 16, John participates in a test of one universityfor handicapped people. He failed the entrance examination. John plans try again next year.
On May 20, John goes to the presidential palace to participate in president Chen Shui-bian's inaugural ceremony.
