  Analysis of Howgi Survey

Howgi Survey Results
This survey is done by customers from Taiwan as well as foreign countries. Therefore we provide three versions of questionnaires respectively in Chinese, Japanese and English. There are 94 effective questionnaires in Chinese, 28 in Japanese, and 15 in English. In total we have gathered 137 effective questionnaires. Among the survey candidates, most customers are from Taipei, foreign customers are mostly from Japan, and others are from North America.

From this graph we discovered that most foreign guests came to Howgi for the first time. They are probably tourists arranged to dine here by the travel agency. Among Chinese survey candidates, those who frequent Howgi for more than ten times occupy the largest portion. This result indicates that Howgi does have regular customers and also shows Howgi's customers would love to come back over and over again. We can also tell that the number of customers is increasing due to the result that there are also a large number of customers who came here for the first time.

The result of Japanese questionnaires shows that guests knew about Howgi from their tour guide. Therefore, we believe they are all tourists. From both Chinese and English version, we found that most customers are referred here by their friends. We can infer that those who had been Howgi would definitely introduce it to their friends.

This result shows that those who choose to dine here would come with their family and colleagues. Especially local Taiwanese consider Howgi as their first choice for a family dining place. The delightful atmosphere of family dining is the best service that Howgi always hope to offer.

People like the dishes of Howgi most according to the survey result. Howgi spends a lot of time and effort on developing culinary skills and finding the best ingredients to satisfy different customers' appetite.

Howgi's antique atmosphere impresses the local customers most, while foreigners prefer the brightness, considerateness and cleanness of the interior design.

Howgi gets better response in Chinese version than those in English and Japanese. This may result from the lack of foreign communication skills of the staff or cultural barriers. So, if Howgi wishes to run its business better to attract more customers, it is necessary that employees receive better language and culture training.

From this graph, we believe that be it Chinese, Japanese or English questionnaires, Howgi has won recognition of local and foreign customers. It helps carry on the traditional Taiwanese culinary culture and also expand it into visual and audio joys of Taiwanese flavor. Thus, Howgi has surely lived up to its own expectation to pass down the traditions.
